Number of Employees
Engaging with store hourly employees in the restaurants is a challenge, especially outside the Open Enrollment season. Although this large population (70% of employees) generally isn’t eligible for company-sponsored benefits, they have access to other health coverage, plus voluntary benefits and discount programs. Cracker Barrel wanted to spread the word in the restaurants.
In each restaurant, the benefits department is given a space on the employee bulletin board, centrally located and frequently seen by all. They had been hanging a poster with general information, but with very little engagement. Posters were very text heavy and design varied month to month.
We recommended a more strategic approach, with content preplanned and a simplified, branded design.
